This year, Alpha received several thousand dollars' worth of need-based scholarship requests, more than the scholarship fund can presently cover. In other words, qualified young writers with a passion for speculative fiction might have to miss out on Alpha for financial reasons. We don't want that to happen.
You can donate using the ChipIn widget in the left sidebar. Awesome things will happen when you do:
- For any amount, we will love you. Plus, donations are 501(c)(3) tax-deductible—give us your mailing address using the form below and we'll send you a receipt.
- If you donate $5 or more, we'll send you your very own copy of "Ned and Jane." After you make your donation, use the form below to send us your address, and you should receive your copy within six weeks.
- Very generous donors have agreed to match the first $1000 in contributions, so donating $5 is like donating $10!
- The person who makes the highest donation between now and April 30 ($200 as of 3/20) will receive the original "Ned and Jane" proofs.
- Finally, if we meet our fundraising goal of $2500 by April 30, we'll post the sequel, "Shine, Ed, Shine," the tale of a vampire seeking to impress his lady love.
